Company history and where it all began...

As a fledgling Christmas decorator in 1980, Richard Coniglio was taken under the wing of Kenneth Simpson (pictured), who was the President of American Christmas Decorating. Under Kenneth’s guidance, Richard cut his teeth on major accounts in New York City such as the New York Stock Exchange, Pfizer Fountain, and AT&T National Headquarters.

Display Arts Worldwide was born after Ken acquired a small display company that had been supplying mechanical figures to American Christmas Decorating. He transformed several of these mechanical figures into retail items that took the industry by storm. As National Sales Manager of Display Arts Worldwide, Richard managed a network of national and international representatives as well as assisting in both production and design. Unfortunately, after stellar growth, the S&L crisis of the late 1980's brought the company down.

After moving to Florida—and with Christmas still in his blood—Richard launched Christmas Consultants International, Inc. in 1992. As the largest professional Christmas decorating company in the Southeast, Christmas Consultants has been decorating the entire state of Florida for over 30 years!
